Methodology — battery-intrinsic only. Anomaly scoring uses only signals native to the pack: SOH (BMS_534), charge/discharge energy counters (BMS_538), cell voltage/temperature (VCU1), battery current & pack voltage (BMS_231). VCU/MCU fault levels are retained as context but do not contribute to the battery anomaly score — those are vehicle-side signals.

K_i = (100 − SOH_current) / √EFC with C_nom = 282.2 kWh. We compute EFC four ways and expose all of them:
  • EFC lifetime discharge = lifetime_dischg_kWh / C_nom — primary (dimensionally matches lifetime SOH loss)
  • EFC lifetime throughput = (lifetime_chg + lifetime_dischg) / (2·C_nom) — counts each full charge-discharge pair as 1 cycle
  • EFC window discharge/throughput — same formulas using only the 3-week observation window (activity metric)
Lifetime totals come from the BMS's own BMS_538_TOTAL_CHG/DISCHG_PWR counter; we take the median of the last 10% of samples to be robust against single-row CAN glitches (one glitch of 655,350 kWh got rejected this way). Window totals are the integrated delta of the counter during our observation period, with individual positive steps capped at 300 kWh to reject sensor spikes.

Next step (future): fit mixed degradation model Degradation = k₁·√EFC + k₂·Months once commissioning dates are available — this separates cycle aging from calendar aging and turns this into a proper fleet-grade degradation model. Our current window is 3 weeks which is too short to fit k₂ reliably; monthly K_i trend chart is there for when you have more data.
